As founder and CEO of Capstone Tech, Shawn is developing AI-native tools for the people most underserved by the workforce ecosystem, job seekers, small nonprofits, and entrepreneurs navigating systems that don't connect.
His suite of products includes Capstone Workforce for communication readiness and interview coaching, GrantParty for grant discovery and management, and Capstone Outreach for client follow-up and relationship building.
A Post-9/11 Air Force veteran with 14.5 years of service, Shawn managed an $11 billion federal program at the Department of the Navy. He holds an Executive MBA from Brown University and IE Business School and teaches AI courses throughout the DC Public Library system.
He launched two products before finding traction. Instead of walking away, he narrowed his focus to a specific problem for a specific client and it worked.
Since February 2026, Capstone Workforce has earned 3,100 paid seats, with clients including NPower and the UN Foundation.
His vision is simple: close the gap between the people who need support and the tools that should be delivering it.
